Tavoron, a national leader in industrial automation, robotics, compressed air, motion control, and engineered solutions, today announced the acquisition of Power Motion, an established industrial automation solutions provider and systems integrator headquartered in the St. Louis, Missouri, area. The acquisition strengthens Tavoron’s automation, robotics, machine vision, and motion control offerings and expands its geographic reach throughout the Midwest and South-Central United States.
Power Motion serves manufacturers and industrial operations as a full-service automation solutions provider, combining product distribution with value-added systems integration. The company specializes in factory automation and industrial robotics, machine vision, motion and servo control, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), safety systems, and pick-to-light solutions, supported by in-house engineering, programming, control panel fabrication, technical training, and on-site service. Power Motion’s Systems Group has been solving industrial automation challenges since 2006, backed by more than 180 years of combined team experience. In addition to its St. Louis headquarters, Power Motion operates offices in Kansas City and Little Rock, Ark., serving customers across Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, Nebraska, and southern Illinois.
The acquisition of Power Motion supports Tavoron’s strategy to deliver integrated, end-to-end automation solutions that combine mechanical, electrical, control, and robotic technologies. By incorporating Power Motion’s product offering, systems integration capabilities, and technical experience, Tavoron further enhances its ability to serve OEMs, manufacturers, and industrial facilities seeking modernized, efficient production systems.
“Power Motion brings a strong reputation for technical knowledge, customer service, and trusted product and engineering expertise; qualities that align directly with Tavoron’s mission to elevate industrial operations across North America,” said Nicholas Martino, CEO of Tavoron. “This acquisition expands our automation and robotics portfolio and strengthens our presence in the Midwest and South Central regions, allowing us to bring even more comprehensive solutions to our customers.”
“We are excited to join Tavoron and bring our customers access to a wider array of technologies, services, and engineering resources,” said Chris Tremblay, president of Power Motion. “Our team remains committed to delivering the same responsive support and value-added solutions we’re known for, now backed by an even broader platform.”
Power Motion will continue operating from its St. Louis headquarters along with its Kansas City and Little Rock offices, maintaining its local teams, customer relationships, and high-touch service model. The company will integrate into Tavoron’s broader automation business while continuing to deliver the reliable products, engineering, and support its customers depend on.
