Ontario International Airport Authority elects Loveridge, Porada to serve as Commission President, Vice President

ONTARIO, Calif., Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The Ontario International Airport Authority (OIAA) Board of Commissioners elected new leadership on Tuesday, selecting Dr. Ronald O. Loveridge to serve as Board president and Debra Porada as vice president.
Loveridge, former mayor of Riverside, has served on the OIAA Board of Commissioners since its founding in 2012. He began his career in public service as a Riverside City Councilmember in 1979, and has served on the boards of numerous prominent organizations, including the California Air Resources Board, California Forward Action Fund, California Competes, South Coast Air Quality Management District, Southern California Association of Governments, Western Riverside Council of Governments and Inland Empire Economic Partnership. He is a past president of the National League of Cities and the League of California Cities, and currently teaches political science at the University of California, Riverside.

Porada, mayor pro tem for the City of Ontario, has served on the City Council since 2008. In addition to her OIAA role, Porada serves on the Water Facilities Authority Board, is a regional Policy Committee member for the Inland Empire Utilities Agency and is past president of the California League of Cities, Inland Empire Division.
